Air Conditioning a house is a logical step in improving your home. The costs have dropped dramatically over the last few years and so it has become affordable to everyone.

There is a popular misconception that Air Conditioning is all about cooling a room when it is hot........this is not the case.....

Comfort Cooling is the actual term used for AC units when they cool the room, Air Conditioning is when you control the temperature of the room either by heating it or cooling it. Air conditioning also can cover control of the rooms humidity, or its pollution levels.

In simple terms an AC unit can either just cool a room, or it can cool and heat a room. We usually install the latter option in a domestic property for several reasons ......

The additional cost for a Reverse Cycle Heat Pump AC unit (....oops more technical jargon) rather than a cooling only AC unit is minimal
The cost of heating a room using an AC unit is nearly two thirds less than traditional methods. An AC unit producing 3.3Kw of heat only uses 1.3Kw of electric. So 2kw of `free` heat !!
The LG Art Cool range are all heating and cooling units, and these have been designed especially for your home

If your home is larger than normal then it becomes viable to have a ducted system, these mean that the AC plant is located out of site and all that is visible are discrete grilles or `valves` that can be gold plated if necessary..........the sky is the limit !!
